Australian gaming startup Virtual Gaming Worlds has proven that being shut out of Kickstarter need not end a project. Four weeks after its campaign to raise $50,000 was suspended from the crowd-sourced funding site without explanation, the Perth-based company has closed a $2.5 million Series A round.
