Amazon inks deal with A+E Networks, doubled its Prime Instant Video catalogue in a year

Amazon has signed a content licensing agreement with A+E Networks, the company announced today. Following the deal, Amazon's Prime Instant Video service will feature prior seasons of TV shows from A&E, bio, HISTORY and Lifetime, such as 'Pawn Stars,' 'Storage Wars' and 'Dance Moms.' "A+E Networks has some of the most popular shows on television and we know our customers will love streaming the A+E content with Prime Instant Video," said Amazon's Director of Digital Video Content Acquisition, Brad Beale.
