Behind the deal: Laureate to invest in Thunderbird, get board seats - Phoenix Business Journal

Laureate Education Inc. will invest money in the Thunderbird School of Global Management and get three seats on its board of trustees as part of a new joint venture and partnership deal announced today. "Laureate will be investing in Thunderbird," said school president Larry Edward Penley.
